The U.S. Department of the Treasury recently notified the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services that the FY 2010 interest rate for Medicare overpayments and underpayments is 10.875, effective April 23. The previous interest rate of 11.25 percent was effective Jan. 25 through April 22, 2010. Read the CMS transmittal.
