Please distribute to all Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in practice.
You are cordially invited to Clarifying the Role of Advanced Practitioners in Oncology Practices, an audio conference CE program for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in oncology practices.
The oncology practice environment is undergoing numerous changes and facing a variety of challenges to the delivery of quality patient care in 2006 and beyond. One developing key change representing an opportunity to deliver high-quality care is the growing role of Advanced Practitioners (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) in oncology practices. This program will address the role of Advanced Practitioners across the clinical, operational, and financial domains of oncology care. It will focus on developing optimal roles and relationships of Advanced Practitioners within the oncology practice environment, including how to define specific activities and align goals to minimize staff conflict, understanding the business side of the oncology practice and the implications of the Medicare Modernization Act (MMA), the 2005 Demonstration Project and its successor, the 2006 Demonstration Project.
